Aloha Everyone,
The two of us had fond memories of visiting a family restaurant located near the riverside of Hot Springs. J.J. drove around the town to see if we could find the restaurant but after driving around twice, we went to DQ.
Not a great meal but I enjoyed the soft cream cone. J.J. thought his hamburger was so-so.
I asked a person who was cleaning table if he knows whatever happened to the natural minerals hot spring that ran through the town. He looked puzzled. He in turn asked me, “…about how long ago they had a mineral hot springs free for public?" I responded, "10-12 years ago." The young man said, "Oh, I would have been 3 or 4. I don’t remember that long ago."
Our hotel, Microtel by Wyndham in Rapid City is a newer property. It is clean and happy to note that J.J. and I will be here for a week. Went to Millstone Family Restaurant located just across the street from the hotel for their hearty country meal.
