J.J. looks forward to listening to stand-up comics whenever we go on cruises. I find even those that are stipulated for the general audience often use crude and insensitive jokes about gender, race, ethnicity, one’s job, social-economic positions and familial background. To me, the truth is that most of these jokes are not even funny.
Dry Bar Comedy is a stand-up comedy venue in Utah. Located in Provo, Utah, 43 miles south of Salt Lake City, it is home to Brigham Young University. Per the available published data, 78% of residents of Provo are members of the LSD Church, Mormons. Nearly all jokes by comedians have to be “clean.”
