Wearing Masks

Aloha Everyone,

All passengers on both domestic and international flights are required to wear a mask at all times. I assume that we are able to remove our mask to drink or eat.

Our son and daughter-in-law gifted us with masks that are produced in Korea advertised as one of the best protection against COVID-19. A feature of this mask is that it can be used for a total of 40 hours. I tried one and the fitting is improved because the strings on both sides can be tightened after you put the mask on.

I am generally comfortable wearing a mask. I’ve done my daily morning walk of 100 minutes without ever removing it.

J.J. is not a mask advocate. He wears one only when it is absolutely required in public places. As of now, he has not found one he likes. Hopefully during the next few days, he will be comfortable with one and be able to keep a mask on during our long traveling day.

Aloha -- Cathi
