Aloha Everyone,
In 2022, our travels involved cruise ships. Grand Princess was the first ship allowed to Hawaii. The two of us continued to Mexico, crossed the Panama Canal, Cartagena to Florida. Two short cruises to Caribbean islands before we crossed the Atlantic Ocean on a repositioning cruise.Our shore visit included Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Funchal, Cadiz, Malaga and Italy.
Civitavecchia was unexpectedly cold with snow flurries, and I had COVID 19 followed by 10 days of isolation.
Fortunately, we had planned on spending 10 days in Athens before boarding an Azamara ship. Our unforgettable trip to Egypt and Israel and 3 weeks stays in Istanbul, Turkey brought 2022 to a happy ending.
