Improving Clan War Attacks Strategy

Aloha Everyone,

Just as in any competitive games you play against others, there’s always room for improvement. My excuses of, “the WiFi is not reliable” cannot apply this week as my son’s house has a good connection.

He also showed me YouTube channels by itzu which I should watch and learn. Additionally, this is a Clan War week and I will look at the replays of our clan members. There’s much to learn.

Very Cold Morning Walk

Aloha Everyone,

This area is one of my favorite places. Familiarity for the neighborhood is one reason and I also feel secure. Actually, there are different routes which I will be taking during our stay with our son’s family.

So here is my route 1.

Our Hawaiian Connection

Aloha Everyone,

Too much excitement, too little sleep, left at 10:00 am instead of 9:00 am, and passing showers also delayed our intended arrival time.

We are truly blessed with our family. Our daughter-in-law brought back from Hawaii beautiful and tasty Easter colored manapua (steamed bun with pork ) & meatjun (Korean origin of Hawaiian dish made of thinly sliced beef dipped in egg batter and fried).

Over animated exchanges of stories of our travels and her one week visiting her parents in Oahu, we relished our Hawaii connections.

Packing Day at ESA

Aloha Everyone,

After 8 days of stay at ESA, we are amazed how much items we had transferee from Honu to make our living comfortable.

This morning I am bundled up with a double layer of pants, triple layer of top, a face mask, scarf and my reliable baseball cap from Greece, and a small backpack to keep me warm.

Terttu, one of my best friends asked me how long I would continue with my PT exercises. My answer is “as long as I am able to walk!”

We Are Back Online With OPTUM

Aloha Everyone,

It wasn’t the slowness of our WiFi connections in the Philippines which made us miss this year’s communications from OPTUM. They have changed their access apps which now are specified for laptops, iPhone and other mobile devices.

Following their prompts and searching for username and passwords that were not easily stored in our brains, J.J. and I were successful!

All my recent laboratory test results are available. I also managed to send an email to my Primary Care Physician, and she ordered a replacement prescription moving it from the previous health provider to OPTUM.  Whew! That probably was an easy task to do for my granddaughter, but I congratulated myself for this latest technology achievement :-)
