Back to My Mother’s

Aloha Everyone,

I am very grateful of my Mother’s presence in my life. I also count my blessings that she remains active and involved in her children, grandchildren and great-grand children’s lives. My Mother is loved and appreciated as she brings unity and structure to our family unit.

“A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.”
— Washington Irving

“My mom smiled at me. Her smile kind of hugged me.”
— R. J. Palacio, Wonder

“I like it when my mother smiles. And I especially like it when I make her smile.”
—Adriana Triguani, Viola in Real Life
