Aloha Everyone,
This morning J.J. and I attended the first of two shore excursion program presentations. The presenter spoke in monotone discouraging any potential excitement by the audience. He covered Cabo San Lucas and Acapulco in Mexico, and Puerto Quetal in Guatemala. As a general practice, the two of us prefer to arrange our own tours. The background information, including destination highlights and time allocated for each tour, is helpful.
It will take us a day or two to get into the groove of cruising. J.J. and I will be selective with our meal choices. Last night, we dined in Versailles restaurant. We both selected prime ribs but prepared differently. Here is J.J.’s rare Prime Rib, definitely more photogenic than mine.
Bert from San Diego and Keith from New Zealand shared our table. Both are retired and have been to some exotic destinations. They freely shared their travel experiences.
