Nha Trang, Vietnam

Aloha Everyone,

It was close to noon after the two of us rode the ship’s tender for a 30 minutes to shore, then transferred to a shuttle bus that dropped us in front of the Cicilia Hotel. The 20 minutes bus ride gave us sufficient time to get a peek of the city. Nha Trang is mixture of small wooden storefronts and modern concrete and glass buildings. The bus drove alongside an expansive, inviting white sand beach. We were reminded why Nha Trang is also known as the “Miami of Vietnam."

While not meant as a tour, the ride gave as a sufficient peek at Nha Trang san Buddhist temples, museums or other points of interests which tourists are invited to visit.

A brief respite at Cicilia Hotel lobby also gave us the opportunity to send email messages to our family and friends in the USA.

Aloha -- Cathi
