Aloha Everyone,
Strong wind alerts were in effect and with low temperatures hovering around 32 degrees Fahrenheit, chances of snow had to be anticipated.
Fortunately, Honu easily withstood the gusty winds and J.J., always a cautious and defensive driver, avoided precarious situations.
The second challenge appeared as the two of us were enjoying the beauties of the California deserts. Honu’s engine light warnings must be taken seriously. From the first warning, we have 10 starts until the engine dies completely. J.J. took such precautionary measures as not turning off the engine until we checked in at the Las Vegas KOA.
Our quick lunch at In-N-Out Burger in Barstow was also consumed in Honu while its engine was running.
J.J. made a 9:30 am appointment at Las Vegas Sprinter Repair Shop for tomorrow morning.
