J.J. and I spent the entire month of January in Torrance with my Mother. This was a period when I experienced profound joy, as well as the realization that one of the most precious moments are the times you spend with your mother. I listened to her stories every night. It brought her joy in the telling and I shared in the joy.
Staying at a place for a prolonged period, then packing up to be back on the road, requires great deal of time. My sister aptly commented that “it’s like moving a house.”
