Early morning sun has a number of health benefits including:
- Gives you better sleep by increasing the brain’s release of Serotonin
- Reduces stress
- Strengthens immune system
- Fights depression
- Boosts mood, calming effect
- Vitamin D for bones, blood cells
According to information on the WebMD site, depending on your skin type, 5 to 30 minutes of exposure to sunlight is sufficient.
So here is my first 3 days of the new year’s walk basking in the morning sunlight.
