Benefits of Sunlight

Aloha Everyone,

Early morning sun has a number of health benefits including:

  • Gives you better sleep by increasing the brain’s release of Serotonin
  • Reduces stress
  • Strengthens immune system
  • Fights depression
  • Boosts mood, calming effect
  • Vitamin D for bones, blood cells

According to information on the WebMD site, depending on your skin type, 5 to 30 minutes of exposure to sunlight is sufficient.

So here is my first 3 days of the new year’s walk basking in the morning sunlight.
