Bolero and a Flash Mob Performance

Bolero, a work of the French composer Maurice Ravel (1875-1937) was originally written as a ballet for Ida Rubinstein, Russian a dancer in 1928.

Bolero is one of the most frequently played and recognizable pieces of classical music. It is conceivable that after a lengthy legal battle, Maurice Ravel’s music Bolero has become a public domain. This means anyone, anywhere in the world can perform without obtaining permission or paying royalty.

So here is a performance by a flash mob* that came together to perform Bolero at Gare de Saint Nazaire (train station) in France.
