Onboard Musical Entertainment

Aloha Everyone,

Many of our fellow passengers are frequent cruisers. Some have done over 150 cruise nights which means they get free beverage packages, free laundry, free WiFi, free upgrades and for the top tier of cruisers, a special dining room.

Our table sharing group reminisced pre-COVID days’ onboard entertainments. These days spectacular stage productions are gone. Instead, there is extensive use of digital projectors to give background and visuals. Even the illusions of multiple dancers on stage are created by image projections.

J.J. and I love attending live afternoon concerts. Tables and chairs placed around the center stage are sparsely occupied. Sadly, classic music cannot compete against Bingo’s and Karaoke contests. The two of us went to an early show of Michael Washington at the Princess Theater before we retired for the night. He sang Ray Charles songs.
