Lyft driver came within 5 minutes of our request. Road traffic was light, but what took time was the check in process at the counter and waiting for our wheelchair services. LAX, rated as one of the worst airports in the world, is undergoing multiple renovations.People were already boarding when J.J. and I were deposited at our gate. Our reclining business class seat is comfortable. In flight meals are better than most international flights. For the damaged screen of my seat, we were given free 10,000 flight miles. We have 25 mb free WiFi which works if we are at a certain altitudes.
All flight crew and passengers are required to wear mask except while eating or drinking. Looking around, it seems masked vs non-masked passengers are about 60-40.
