Taking Care Of Business In South Dakota

Aloha Everyone,

J.J. and I are always happy to return to Box Elder when the weather is pleasant. Lush green pastoral landscapes and the beautiful Black Hills are peaceful, welcoming sights.

There seems always good reason for us to "come home" to. This time was to pick up new license plates with a new number for Honu. When we inquired at our mail forwarding services why are we getting new license plate, she said that everyone is getting new ones for 2016! The illustration is still that of the 4 United States presidents featured in the Mount Rushmore monument.

We also picked up our absentee voter registration forms, stopped at Super Target to resupply Honu. J.J. enjoyed his "All You Can Eat" lunch at HuHot Mongolian grill. I was satisfied with a small side order salad.

Doing our laundry at the KOA campground  took up most of the afternoon. It looked as if others also designated today as the laundry day. From morning to evening, the small laundry room was in constant use.
