Touring Peachtree City

Aloha Everyone,

There are 350 species of birds in Georgia. We were awakened by bird calls of unidentifiable species with yellow and green feathers.

After a home cooked breakfast by Dee, the four of us got ready to go on the tour of Peachtree City. Our first stop was Athenas Pizzeria and Greek Cuisine for lunch. Dee and I both had a small Greek Salad and we shared a spanakopita. The quality of the latter, one of my favorite Greek food was perfect and absolutely delicious!

A tourist pamphlet for Peachtree City promotes the leisurely lifestyle offering golf, tennis, jogging, running, kayaking, swimming, fine dining, nature trails, and much more as "Life at 15 mph" with "Over 90 miles of multi-use paths."

Golf carts everywhere and they even have parking spaces allocated for them. Lee showed us the City Hall, library, and the old town of Sharpsburg.

Our mutual friend, Shelley joined us at a Mexican restaurant for dinner. Everyone enjoyed great conversation trying to catch up on family news.

Our second day in Peachtree City concluded with an evening walk around the neighborhood.

Aloha -- Cathi
