Aloha Everyone,
Cannon Beach is one of the most photogenic sections of the Oregon Coast. Long sandy beach with white capping waves is mesmerizing. Nearby Haystack Rock guards the shore. It is very photogenic.
The Astoria–Megler Bridge spans 1,233 feet across the lower Columbia River.
The Lewis and Clark National and State Historical Parks next to the Columbia River is under the administrations of the United States Park Service and the states of Oregon and Washington.
Our lunch stop was in Naselle by the Columbia River, one of the sites where the Lewis and Clark expedition is commemorated.
Honu’s lodging for the next two nights is at KOA campground in the heart of Washington timber country.
