Why Disney World in Florida is Mosquito Free

Aloha Everyone,

I always make sure that we carry insect repellents whenever we travel to Florida. I personally don’t recall being bitten by mosquitoes in one of the happiest places on earth or resort to using hydrocortisone cream after a bite.

So here is the answer. This is a fascinating story of how Walt Disney created a mostly pest-free amusement park in the middle of Florida’s swamp country.
