Aloha Everyone,
Greek Cuisine for touristy restaurants tend to offer a standard menu with well known dishes that are familiar to visitors.After 4 days searching for Oven Baked Giant Beans, I finally came across it today. Frankly, I rather eat Greek ice cream and Spanakopita, but the mostly protein dish is a healthier option for me.
Our server enthusiastically explained that this dish uses the family traditional recipe. For 40 years, the recipe has not changed and the chef prepare it the same way each morning. I must say, beans were excellent. J.J. also commented that his calamari dish was good. After our sumptuous dinner, we enjoyed our evening stroll in a residential neighborhood of Acropolis. Ah, life even with hustle and bustle of rebounding tourism in Athens is good.
