President Biden signed the debt ceiling bill that averted the United States from the brink of default. While the bill did not satisfy everyone, leaders from both parties concurred that it was a great bipartisan agreement which is best for the American people. At least for the next two years, we could make plans.
Immediate result of reaching the debt ceiling agreement is that the US stock market rebounded slightly. According to a recent Gallup poll, approximately 65% of Americans own some stock. Out of that only a small percentage own any significant amount.
Those who are investing are looking at companies involved in AI technology. A safer investments might be consumer goods and large supermarkets such as Walmart, Target, Costco, and Amazon.
