Aloha Everyone,
J.J. finished pre-booking accommodations for the first 5 days of our trip on the road. We are anticipating snow along San Bernardino Mountain passes and strong winds. The first day we will be on the road for no more than 4 hours and staying in Barstow.Our main objective for this road trip is to arrive in Rapid City, South Dakota with sufficient time to get J.J.’s driver license renewed. It expires on March 18th.
South Dakota Driver Licensing Renewal requirements include 2 proofs of address, pass a vision screening at the exam station. There maybe a knowledge exam for which the two of us plan to review online.
The last time we visited South Dakota was in July 2019 prior to the pandemic.
