Kakaako Kitchen serves what Jeff refers to as "Gourmet Hawaiian-style Plate Lunch. The chef utilizes many fresh ingredients from local sources including Nalo Greens from Waimanalo and fresh fish from the local auction block.
The menu is extensive and after the three of us made our selections, we sat at a table surrounded by lush green tropical foliages.
Frank, the Front of the House Manager, brought us our take-out plates with a friendly smile. When Jeff asked Frank what is his favorite dish, without a hesitation he answered Kalbi Ribs.
Our dinner was absolutely delicious!
Kakaako Kitchen definitely deserves return visits from us.
