Aloha Everyone,
Today we rode 4 different trains from Narita International Airport in Chiba prefecture to Tamana in Kumamoto prefecture.
Narita Express is an ultra-modern and absolutely amazing train. Onboard electronic messages and announcements are in 4 languages - Japanese, English, Korean and Chinese.
J.J. and I couldn't help but also being impressed with its immaculate and spacious toilets.
Shinkansen Hikari from Shinagawa Station to Shin-Osaka was our 2nd train. Having been awake since 2:30 am, we had our lunch at 10:30 am.
From Shin-Osaka, we transferred to the Shinksnsen Sakura to Kumamoto. Our final destination of Tamana is not one of the stops for the bullet trains. We had to take a local train which stopped at every small town station.
