Aloha Everyone,
There are 11 churches and a cathedral in the Centro Historico area of Guadalajara. My favorite is Templo Santa Maria de Gracia. It is located off the main plaza. Times I’ve visited it The church is empty, quiet and a perfect place for self-reflection.
I spent my meditation time looking at a collection of my Mother’s photographs on my iPhone. Some are of her solo photos which I captured when she was unaware. Others are professional portraits done by J.J. But my favorites are selfies I took of her and me. Each drawings I do of my Mother in my sketch book, I remember stories she used to tell me. I remember times we spent cooking. Most of all, I remember numerous trips when she joined us. I feel immense gratitude for having had her in my life.
Today would have been my Mother’s 100th Birthday.
