Record High Global Temperature

Aloha Everyone,

The hottest global temperature ever recorded is the breaking news of this week. On Monday, the average global temperature reached 62.62 degrees Fahrenheit. Then on Tuesday it was 62.924 degrees Fahrenheit and remained at this record high the next day.

As in so many parts of the globe, the UK’s climate change has resulted in warmer and wetter winters and hotter and drier summers.

Reason attributed to this week’s record global warming is due to human induced climate change. Meteorologists are emphasizing that we have to stop burning fossil fuels NOW. For many living things, they depend on sustainable ecosystems.

During my morning walk, I watched landscaping crews repairing the dried patches of lawn. It’d take too long and too much water to grow lawn grass from seed. Solutions of putting down pre-grown patches of grass soaked in water and nutrients took just a couple of hours. By the next day, that patch of lawn was looking verdant and inviting for birds and unfortunately, dogs.
