Sea Day 2

Aloha Everyone,

J.J. and I attended a presentation by the Carnival staff on their revised color coding system and upcoming cruises.

Carnival cruise has 5 different color coded cards to identify the number of cruises one has taken. Different colors are also affiliated with on-board privileges you are entitled to.

Blue is for the first timer. Red which is us means that we have cruises up to 24 days on Carnival. We received two complimentary bottles of 1 liter water as return cruisers. The top is Diamond and it means they have cruised over 200 days. For this level, you will receive priority check-ins, allowed unlimited luggage, unlimited complimentary laundry service, guaranteed reservations in specialty restaurants, special invitation for dinner with the Captain, one time free room upgrade, etc. J.J. and I do not get influenced by incentive programs such as this, however we met passengers who are very motivated to cruise so that they can achieve at least the Platinum card level to avail of the priority check in.

I must remember to thank our granddaughter for keeping me current on some of the popular songs such as "Firework" and "Happy" that are played often on board including in the gym.

Aloha -- Cathi
