Lake Corpus Christi State Park offers opportunities to engage in water sports, observe wildlife and simply relax.
Lake Corpus Christi is 18,256-acre lake and anglers hope to catch largemouth, white bass; crappie; blue, channel, flathead catfish; and bluegill.
The fishing pier J.J. and I walked on is wheelchair accessible with a fish cleaning shelter. The fisherman we met had just began fishing. Having one fishing experience, I asked him if the fish are biting. During our stay he caught one crappie, but it was less than 10 inches and he had to release it.
The following photos are for my Mother who is always concerned that if we are eating enough fruits and fresh vegetables.
