Uninvited House Guests

Aloha Everyone,

Today was a low of 45 degrees and high of 73. 20 degrees variation from yesterday is a welcome change. This is perfect walking weather. I just have to hold onto my baseball cap when occasional gusty desert winds try to blow it away.

Majority of the RVers in Tucson come to get away from the harsh winter in their home state. After six months as snowbirds, they are getting ready to depart.

I was waived to a halt when a neighbor wanted to show me his uninvited house guests. A mother Mourning Dove had constructed a nest on the towing bar of his RV. The egg hatched and the pair of parents are busy feeding and keeping the little chick warm. Unfortunately, the baby was not yet ready to fly. The owner of the RV who left at dawn this morning, was asking around for a substitute site. Hope he was able to find another place for his house guests.
