Aloha Everyone,
The Reyes Christmas party was a very enjoyable event. Approximately 70 family members were present. Including private caregivers, household staff, drivers, etc, we estimated that there were about 100 people. The venue of Ayala Nuvali Recreation Center suited perfectly. In spite of heavy downpours, the party went on in a large, air-conditioned hall with music, entertainment, games and a lot of delicious Filipino and Spanish food.
The climax of the evening, especially for younger children was to receive Christmas money from “elders." Following the children, service staff members including security guards from the Ayala Nuvali Development were in line happy to receive a wad of “Christmas” money.
J.J. and I had a wonderful time reconnecting with some members of the family as well as meeting the younger generation of thriving and flourishing successful individuals. Some flew in for the event from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and different parts of the United States.
