Aloha Everyone,Oceania Regatta gives two complimentary specialty dining for each of the passengers. J.J. and I had our Mother’s Day dinner at Toscana Italian Restaurant.
Meal was good but not spectacular as the company’s advertising claims. J.J.’s comment is that they source top quality ingredients but unfortunately, they lack good chefs.
J.J. had scampi as a starter but for the second course, his request of spaghetti allá vongole was prepared with clams but in red sauce. His main course of lobster was served 1/2 portion rather than normal, full of head and tail.
I fared better as I asked for calamari allá romana followed by angel hair pasta with light tomato sauce.
