Returned to San Francisco

Aloha Everyone,

Vita, a very good friend of mine, shared one of her fondest memory of San Francisco. It was getting up at 4:00 am and she enjoyed seeing the Golden Gate Bridge from below as her cruise vessel passed beneath the suspension bridge.

Golden Gate Bridge connects a one mile wide straits linking the city of San Francisco to Marin County. The bridge is popular with pedestrians and bicyclists and it has 6 car lanes. The last time J.J. and I drove across the Golden Gate Bridge, we were driving Honu pulling a U-Haul trailer. Somehow we fell into a lane which took us through one of the hilly roads of San Francisco that in itself was another memorable drive.

This morning, it was rainy and foggy. After a healthy breakfast, the two of us walked towards Pier 15, onto a boardwalk and enjoyed a more leisurely pace of the city.
