In California, fast food restaurant employees will receive a minimum wage of $20 an hour. For service industry where employees don’t make career out of working in fast food restaurant, there could be repercussions that could affect employers as well. They are voicing that they would have to reduce staff, reduce hours and possibly days of workers.The two of us have been noticing that servers are very aggressive about getting their tips. J.J. normally gives a generous 20% tip, but now that amount is expected.
