Jennifer, who waited on us, mentioned that she went to Hawaii to attend a friend's wedding but it rained all the time she was there. Although mostly sunny and pleasant. After getting accustomed to my Mother's healthy home cook meals, my choice of clam chowder soup and pastrami with Swiss cheese sandwich was too heavy and I finished only a half of my meal.
Winter wonderland festivities were at full swing at our granddaughter's school when we arrived. Children enjoyed riding rubber tube to slide down the make-shift snowy hill.
