From Miami to St Augustine

Aloha Everyone,

We left the Embassy RV Park at 8:00 AM. For an hour and half, J.J. had to contend with Monday morning commuter traffic of Miami. From our higher vantage point in Honu, it's alarming to see how many drivers are impatient switching lanes back and forth unnecessarily creating hazardous conditions.

A Silver Alert is a public notification system to broadcast information about missing senior citizens with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other mental disabilities. We pray that this individual will be recovered safely.

Our lunch stop was at a Cracker Barrel restaurant on I-95 literally in the middle of nowhere. We both had grilled trout with two choices of vegetables. Cracker Barrel is a "family-style" affordable restaurant chain  they are in 43 states and many of them are concentrated in the South and Mid-West. Per information on their complimentary travel map, there are 630 Cracker Barrel locations.

We are staying at Anastasia State Park in St Augustine for the night. Surrounded by trees and spacious site for Honu, we are very happy to be camping in a Florida state park.

This area is popular for sand dunes, windsurfing and fishing. We walked on the elevated wooden platform to see the Atlantic Ocean.

Here is Debbie from New York  who was on a holiday with her husband.
