Florida Back to Georgia on I-95 North

Aloha Everyone,

Loud noise from a helicopter and small plane circling overhead woke us up. At 3:30 in the morning, J.J. and I hoped that whatever emergency they were responding was resolved on a positive note.

Our morning routine is J.J. brews coffee and I prepare breakfast. We then spend  30 - 120 minutes on our mobile devises to catch up with news, read, send text messages and emails. Early morning and early evening hours is when I play COC, an online game, talk to our family and friends and draw in my sketch book.

This morning J.J. noticed that Honu's shoreline electrical connection was malfunctioning. We finished our breakfast early and made a quick stop at Camping World to purchase a replacement.

Jacksonville, Florida with an estimated population of 914,000 is a major seaport city and the last large city on I-95 North before entering Georgia. To avoid the mid day traffic, J.J. bypassed downtown.

Back in Georgia, we had a light lunch at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Kingsland.

Tonight Honu's accommodation is at Inland Harbor RV Park. Beautiful park-like setting with tall mature trees providing shade and home for song birds. What a big difference from our previous stay. All this and the gracious Southern hospitality for less than a half of what we paid last night.

Lyric as sang by Ray Charles

Georgia, Georgia
The whole day through
Just an old sweet song
Keeps Georgia on my mind (Georgia on my mind)
I said Georgia, Georgia
A song of you
Comes as sweet and clear
As moonlight through the pines
