Praça de Touros do Campo Pequeno (Campo Pequeno Bullring)

Aloha Everyone,

A 90% of rain was predicted for today. We decided to get our walk early. The Praça de Touros do Campo Pequeno (Campo Pequeno Bullring) is an easy walk from our hotel. J.J. and I figured if the rain comes early, we will take a taxi back. After undergoing major renovations, the bullring reopened in 2006 and now serves as a multi-event arena. It is used for a wide range of live entertainment and shows. The complex has an underground shopping center.

It took me exactly 9 minutes to walk around the circumference of the bullring. The next bullfight is scheduled on September 27th. In the meantime, the bullfight museum is open to the public for a €3 entrance fee. J.J. and I are not fans of this sport, and having spent time visiting the bullring of Ronda, Spain, we decided to walk back to our hotel before the rain.

Aloha -- Cathi
