Bambi & Tony’s 50th Anniversary

Aloha Everyone,

It was beautiful and emotional. There were approximately 140 invited guests including the Reyes family and Narciso’s.

The ceremony lasted about an hour, then photo sessions which took place at the altar for additional time.

The priest who officiated is a first cousin of Tony. He told the audience that this is his fourth time marrying Bambi and Tony. The first time they got married 50 years ago, 10th year, 25th year anniversary and today renewing of vows.

The invitation requested that man wear formal Filipino attire, Barong Tagalog. J.J. looked smart and wonderful!

The dinner was catered, and the event was coordinated by our friend, Joy. With paella and lechon (Filipino suckling pig) plus a large assortment of desserts, guests seemed happy and satisfied. They also had wine and hard liquor with an open bar.

Entertainment was provided by professional musician who played violin and flute choosing fitting songs to videotaped photos of Bambi and Tony spanning over their 50 plus years of knowing each other.

I am very happy that the evening went by without any incidents. By the time we returned to our hotel with Marita’s driver, it was past 9:00 pm.

Aloha -- Cathi
