We both needed new prescription glasses. J.J. for distance and me to replace my Walmart off a rack reading glasses.Sunnies Studios is a private company founded in 2013. Discount frame shop with free eye exam and a catchy advertising slogan, “Get your glasses in 19 minutes”.
There are currently 127 locations in the Philippines. The one we decided to stop and inquire is only 15 minutes walk from our hotel.
Immediately when we stepped into the store, an aggressive salesperson asked to choose our frames. It was assumed that we are there for glasses and no time was wasted. While she was attending to J.J., a salesman stepped up to help me. Our information was inputted into their handheld computer device. We were then asked to take a seat and wait for the next available Optometrist.
J.J. and I estimate that the corner retail store had 4 examination rooms, storage space and approximately 1,000 sq ft. Interesting features are a coffee bar and logo shop plus a special section for children.
My eye examination was professionally done. The total cost for each of us was $30.84. It was lunch time and they asked for a half an hour to complete the order.
Both of us are very pleased with our new glasses.
