Organizing Our RV

Aloha Everyone,

We spent our first night at Sam's Town RV Park adjacent to a large hotel & gambling hall in North Las Vegas, Nevada.  It is about a 30 minutes drive from the Strip. The assigned pad requires backing up the RV so that you can connect the water, sewer and electricity.  Most of the other RVs are huge!.  Many of them seem to be here for the long-haul.

There is a separate building with laundry facility, swimming pool and hot tub.  Two stand alone toilet and shower facilities are also available for RV guests.  You are given an access code to use during your stay.

Cost for our size RV is $18.13 per night including electric and water hook-ups and gray and black water disposal. Based on his research, J.J. believes this is a "basic" but clean RV park as I am sure we will experience some with wonderful amenities and while others will be rustic.

J.J. and I still have not sorted out our closet spaces.  There are a total of 10 closets and 6 kitchen drawers and cabinets. We are trying to designated his and her closet spaces for our "bedroom," "bathroom items," and space for our sleeping bag, plus yoga mats and block.  I think sleeping bags are an excellent idea but I still need to have pillows, sheets and blanket to feel more at home.

Since we did not drive out of the park, today's lunch came from our provision in the refrigerator.
