Back to Kanarraville, Utah

Aloha Everyone,

We are back at one of our favorite RV parks.  Following our custom, J.J. stopped Honu and I drove down the country road recalling the very first time I sat behind the wheel of Honu.

Gail, the owner,  greeted us with hugs and updated us on what she has been doing to the property. Renovations are on-going including new roof for the bathroom and toilet building. Gail is targeting to have them completed before the end of summer.

Tonight we are enjoying the cool breeze with the temperature expected to go down to 54 degrees Fahrenheit. Incessant singing of cricket seem to be surrounding Honu as if we are sitting inside a music hall to listen to their evening performance.

In ancient China, wealthy homeowners had crickets in their gardens to act as guards.  If any strangers walk into the property, crickets would stop singing thus alerting the owner of possible intruders.

Aloha -- Cathi
