Family Reunion in Hill City, SD

Aloha Everyone,

"Welcome Home!!!" J.J. and I were warmly greeted this morning when we stopped by America's Mail Box, the location of our official address in Box Elder, South Dakota. South Dakota is our home state on our RV Adventure, though we still have very strong family and personal ties around the country, especially in Hawaii and California.

Judy and Chuck are from California but are now full-time RVers who are in Box Elder to establish their residency. When Judy expressed her slight uneasiness in what they are about to embark, J.J. and I enthusiastically reassured them that we love this "home-free" lifestyle. Every morning we look forward to new adventures. We exchanged emails and promised to stay in touch.

My sister, Irene, and her daughter, Jennifer, and Jennifer's four small sons arrived late afternoon in Hill City.

When the eight of us were having dinner at the coffeeshop of their hotel, Cheri and Abigail were seated at the next table. Noticing that I was trying to take a group photo, Abigail offered her assistance.

Granddaughter, Abigail, lives in Washington State and Cheri resides in Idaho. The duo take annual road trips and this year they came to SD where Cheri was born.

Honu's accommodation in Hill City is Crooked Creek RV Park Campground & Resort, about  2 miles from the center of the city.
