To Port O’Connor, TX

Aloha Everyone,

Before the two of us left the neighborhood of Goose Island State Park, we returned to have a lunch picnic. Despite beautiful wildflowers, birds and butterflies frolicking about, we stayed inside Honu. The mosquito bites I got during the bird walks are inflamed. I counted 18 of them concentrated around my neck and arms. Fortunately no mosquito cause disease warnings have been issued by CDC (Center for Disease Control) at present, so we are not alarmed. I am applying hydrocortisone cream, calamine lotion and Vick’s alternately to alleviate my discomfort and J.J.’s pain of watching me suffer. Since I continue to participate in birding, I must come up with better protection gear.

The Texas sky became dark, predicting  deteriorating weather ahead. We are staying 3 nights at the Port O’Connor RV Park. Excellent WiFI gives me a chance to practice Kundalini Yoga mantras even as the wind is gusting at 35 mph.
