Aloha Everyone,
As of June 8th, World Ocean Day, the Southern Ocean is officially recognized as the World’s fifth ocean. This exciting scientific announcement recognizes most of the waters that surround Antarctica, out to 60 degrees south latitude, as the Southern Ocean.J.J. and I had talked about sailing all 4 oceans in our lifetime. So far we have crossed the Atlantic, the Pacific and Indian Ocean. Now we still have the Arctic and the Southern Ocean to look forward to.
