Greek food represents some of the best Mediterranean dishes. Using fresh local ingredients including plenty of olive, olive oil, fruits and always lemon and herbs, they are not only tasty but healthy.
I can feast on Greek salad everyday but after the 5th day and eating from fantastic to so-so, I have moved onto much more interesting and photogenic dishes.
Moussaka, souvlaki, Tzatzik (Greek yogurt with garlic and herbs), fried Calamari, grilled sardines and pita wraps. It seems the best is yet to come.
