Chinese Dim Sum Lunch

Aloha Everyone,

Our lunch was at one of the Chinese Restaurants we’ve frequented in the South Bay area. J.J. noticed about a 15% price increase across the board. Service was no longer the traditional Dim Sum cart with steaming dishes from where you can peek and make your selections. Now you are given a type written sheet with a pencil to mark your choices.

The good news  is that without a doubt, it was the best Chinese food we had in 6 weeks. My favorite dish was the fried eggplants.

Our bill for 7 dim sum dishes plus tea service and tip came out to $50. When I mentioned this to Jeff, he reminded us that is about 30% less than Hawaii prices.
