Aloha Everyone,
Woke up to a bright sunny day. Tropical Storm Hilary left a mess, but it is gratifying that all the preparedness by state, city and county personnel made a huge difference.
After parking Honu at our storage place, my sister drove us to Emerald Princess. 25 minutes driving time and 40 minutes to get on board. After completing the safety requirements, J.J. and I had a buffet lunch up on the Lido Deck.
Our stateroom attendant Subaidi is a jovial man from Indonesia. He sounds experienced and detail oriented.
Took a short walk then dinner at 5:00 pm at Botticelli Dining Room where we shared a table with two other couples. Each wanted to share their harrowing experience of trying to get onboard on time.
The two of us skipped the evening comedy show and went to sleep by 8:00 pm.
