Back in San Diego, California

Aloha Everyone,

The first task for J.J. this morning was to clean off birds droppings from Honu. He commented that there is no such thing as a "perfect shade."

We stopped at the Cracker Barrel before leaving Arizona. There was a beautiful pink hued cactus in front of the restaurant.

Cathi's healthy breakfast with yogurt, granola and turkey bacon with plain scrambled egg.

J.J.'s more interesting breakfast.

In the middle of the bridge over the Colorado River there is a marker that separates Arizona and California.

A canal runs between sand dunes and provides a water source for Imperial Valley farms.

Fertile fields of hay in California:

Miles of wind mills is one of the sources for generating electricity.

We took I-8 to CA-52. Only 24 miles to San Diego City Limit we passed through mountain passes of 4,000 elevation with interesting rock formations.

This area had temporary warning posting of "Strong winds ahead".

Our drive from Yuma, AZ to our destination in San Diego took us 5 hours with a leisurely breakfast.

Tonight, J.J. and I are relaxing and enjoying the wonderful company of our family.

Aloha -- Cathi
