Aloha Everyone,
At KOA Las Vegas, to mitigate the excessive desert heat, we had to run Honu's air conditioning unit at its maximum level. Adverse unintended consequence of using the AC for a prolonged period is that it stopped functioning.
Temporary solution was for us to check into Red Lion Hotel a day earlier than scheduled.
For dinner, we took a short drive to Honolulu Grill where J.J. purchased a Hawaiian Plate consisted of Teriyaki Chicken, Kalua Pork and rice. This small no-frill eat-in, take-out place seems very popular with local residents. J.J. says that the quality was excellent and may be interested in a return visit before we depart from Saint George.
