Based on a study of postal workers in Scotland, it appears that that previously established 10,000 steps a day to a healthy heart may not be sufficient. 15,000 steps is now the new target. Calculating that I walk 3 miles which equals to 6,000 steps, I should actually be walking at least 2 1/2 hours to reach the magic number of 15,000!
So put on your good walking shoes and start on your 15,000 steps for today!
