Shiatsu

Aloha Everyone,
My Mother credits her amazing health to a regular regimen of Shiatsu. Shiatsu is Japanese massage literally translates as finger pressure.
Shiatsu is conducted by professionally trained individual.
One lies down on a massage table.
No oil or powders are used.
It is not necessary to disrobe, although loose fitting clothing is highly recommended.
Shiatsu' main uses are for:
Musculoskeletal problems, arthritis, stress, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraines, digestive disorder, circulatory problems and promoting general health.
Basic Procedures:
Fingers, thumbs, elbows, knees and even feet are used in a combination of massage techniques. Applying pressure to key points help stimulate and enhance energy flow within the body.
My Mother's regular Shiatsu therapist is Hide of Hide's Shiatsu located at Gateway Plaza in Gardena. His charge of $48 for 60 minutes seems to be well worth every penny as my Mother gets reenergized from these semi-monthly hour-long sessions.
Aloha -- Cathi
